You can do and see many things in both Hong Kong and Singapore. Both countries have an overwhelming number of tourist spots that most people from across the world like visiting this place to enjoy themself. After the emergence of covid 19 in 2019, international travel was stopped to stop the spreading. This brought about an innovative way to position themselves and create a travel bubble to continue protecting their economy. The two countries came together to create a corona corridor which enabled people from this two-country could travel freely without having to self-isolation Hong Kong’s Commerce Secretary Edward Yau and Singapore’s Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung agreed that anybody who would travel within this two-country had to produce a negative covid 19 certificate.

Hong Kong has banned all non-residential residents since March. This kind of deal with Singapore will mean a to both countries economically because there are many economic ties between these countries. After signing the agreement, Singapore’s key business officials have started visiting Hong Kong for business dealings in China. Singapore has now eased the quarantine period from 14 days to 7 days for all travelers from Hong Kong, which has put this country on the list of low-risk places. This deal had come when international travel in Asia collapsed, where the number of travelers had gone down by about 97% due to the fear that this pandemic had posed. Following the information that Cathay Pacific released, travel surged by 7% currently. The good thing is that the positivity rate has decreased to a single digit since August. Their counterpart Singapore’s positivity rate has reduced because it is below 10. since the signing of the deal, there has been a flight that operates in both cities carrying a maximum of 200 passengers for a day for two weeks this has been set as a trial phase. If the state of positivity rate remains the same, then the capacity will increase in June, and this has been enabled due to Travel bubble information: Hong Kong – Singapore.
